Ms Fiorini is currently employed by the University of Malta and offers her time on a voluntary basis to the Malta Chamber of Scientists. In both instances she is a project manager on a number of both EU and local initiatives.
Project Management – European Researchers’ Night EU Horizon 2020 project
Assistant Project Manager (part-time), Funding Executive, for the Chamber.
Obtain funding from EU and national programmes; proposal writing, creating activities and budget for the event.
Liaising with EU Commission during the negotiation process.
Organisation of ERN in Malta (Science in the City), a Science and Arts Festival held in September in close collaboration with
entities such as the Valletta Local Council, MEUSAC, Spazju Kreattiv, MCST, MCAST, Studio 7, etc..
Running the awareness campaign.
Ensuring the budget is adhered to, obtaining quotations, seeing to all administrative needs of the project.
Ensuring deliverables are on schedule
Compiling all the reports requested by the EU.
Managing the Kids Dig Science activities (theatre and hands-on experiments) on a voluntary basis for the Chamber.
