Copies of graphic novels donated to the library so far!
Good news!
We have been receiving requests from people who want to donate graphic novels and comics to the campaign. Of course we are accepting such donations and they will be included together with the books that will be bought after the campaign is finished.
We would like to thank Larkin Gatt who donated a copy of ‘Batman Year One’. Also, Dr. Stefano Moncada, assistant lecturer and researcher in development economics and European studies at Institute for European Studies at the University of Malta has showed interested in donating a number of comics for the public library.
Wicked Comics, the organisers of the Malta Comic Con donated a number of graphic novels as well. These include some titles from the classical comics collection such as Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet, both in the plain text version, A Christmas Carol and Frankenstein in original text and a copy of Frankenstein in quick text version. Together with these they also gave us a copy of Spera Vol 3.
Prof. Milena Dobreva, associate professor at the Library Information & Archive Sciences Department at the Faculty of Media & Knowledge Sciences at the University of Malta has donated a copy of ‘The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage: The (Mostly) True Story of the First Computer’.
We have also received a donation from GNLM members, which consists of We3, The Arrival, American Born Chinese, Batman and Robin Vol 7: Robin Rises, Astonishing Thor and Batman: No Man’s Land Bk 2.
We encourage such donations and are very pleased to receive them, however, we still need to reach our campaign’s goal for the whole campaign to be successful. So please share and spread the word.
