Project Description

For my 48th Birthday, on the 29th January 2025, instead of asking for presents for myself, I decided to give Malta, and its Cultural Heritage, a Biiiig present 😉 On the day I will be attempting a 48 km walk (in 10 hours), walking by 48 different Cultural Heritage sites in Malta, which my Team and I have visited during the past 4/5 years of local Exploration and Documentation.

As I pass by these sites, I will be raising Awareness by giving out useful Information and Curiosities, some Exclusive (never seen before) footage and/or photos, about every single site, and also links to my YouTube and TikTok content I have uploaded for all to Enjoy and Learn from. After further communication with Authorities, on some of these sites we already managed to make some Impact, saving them from being further vandalised, also SAVING a few.

We will be walking from Birkirkara, all the way to Birzebbugia, the FinishLine being Fort Benghisa. So all those who would like to join us from Xghajra onwards, can do so and are very welcome to do so. It will be getting dark, so bring your High Visibility vests and torches with you guys. It will be a very brisk pace, as I need to reach my target on time.

We have been also Suggesting and giving PROPOSALS (through AI as well), of how we see these sites used in the future, instead of leaving them crumbling to pieces and losing them forever. This initiative is the first one of its kind on the Maltese Islands !!

As most of you Followers and Subscribers know, this requires a lot of research, time for script writing, filming, editing and promoting the content itself (since it’s mostly a one-man show, although I am surrounded by a small group of people who support a lot), and all this on voluntary basis. Many people ask me how they can help in return, so I am giving you this opportunity by organising a Crowdfunding activity to invest in more professional Safety Gear, so that I can do my thing better and get more interesting results for you. Definitely Not to spend on some holiday, although I DO need a good one 😉

This event will also be aired with LIVE links on local TV stations, Live interventions on some local radio stations, and also through my personal social media platforms.
