This year I have joined the ALIVE2024 Cycling Challenge for Cancer Research, happening between June 21st and 27th, 2024. This monumental journey spanning Italy, France, and Spain covers a staggering 1200km and 7000m of vertical elevation. Imagine the determination, the sweat, and the sheer willpower it takes to conquer such a feat!

My teammates and I will kickstart our journey from Milan, head through France, and ultimately culminate in the beautiful city of Girona, Spain. But this isn’t just about the distance that we’ll cover—it’s about the lives we’ll impact along the way. And this is where you come in!

I ask and urge you to support my cycling mission by

ABOUT THE CHARITY

The ALIVE Charity Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation registered with the Commission for Voluntary Organisations - VO/0801. It is run and managed by a committee of volunteers and funded through volunteer donations, corporate contributions and charity events, all of which are driven by the dedicated hard work of the cyclists participating in each annual challenge.

  • We believe in the need to contribute towards the community by creating awareness on key health issues related to Cancer.
  • We believe that no Cures are possible without adequate investment in research.
  • We take a different approach towards making a difference within the field of Cancer treatment through the funding of scientific research projects with long-term benefits.
  • We consider our Foundation as a pioneer in Malta in raising funds for medical research.
  • We believe that Malta’s researchers have the potential to participate in international research network programmes and contribute positively towards cancer research breakthroughs.
  • We want to ensure that patients receive adequate support during their rehabilitation programmes.
  • We hope to bring forward the day when all cancers are curable.
  • This is the Cause that we are take Great Pride in working for.
  • We have raised €700,000 since 2013 to fund cancer research projects.
