Project Description
We are organising a Live Music and Dance Concert, “Thinking Too Much”, to raise awareness around Mental Health while reducing the stigma that surrounds it, with our performers sharing their own stories and the evening being one of hope, positivity and inspiration.
We also share and raise awareness on rare diseases/illness and invisible disabilities through dance.
Following the UK version in 2022, we now bring this to Malta with the artists travelling from the UK to perform for local audiences.
ALL proceeds go to Walk and Talk (VO/2305 ) to ensure that it carries on with its good work throughout 2024, as we continue inviting the community to attend a monthly walk in nature around various localities in Malta. At each walk we provide refreshments and there will be personal and professional volunteers to speak to, along with an understanding community surrounding you.
Check out the FAQ tab for more information about the event.

Project FAQ
Why do you have the UK artists travel over to perform?
- When we did this concert last year in the UK, we had the artists from Malta travel to perform.
There is a strong connection between the UK and Malta on medical fronts. The founder of Walk and Talk also battled Mental Health illness in the UK, while battling a rare disease in Malta, thus wanting to assist with both countries and continue it's unity.
What does the concert entail?
- Music from bands, violinists and vocals. Talented dance groups. Personal stories shared along the way.
A rollercoaster of emotions, a journey of an evening, ultimately leaving feeling uplifted and also knowing you aren't alone.
What does Walk and Talk do?
- Walk and Talk gives everybody a chance to seek support in a natural, relaxed environment without any fear of judgement. It encourages you to create social networks within the community to help through the stresses and strains of life and it shows you that you are not alone.
Why does Walk and Talk need fundraising?
- We do not receive any government funding and we work on all aspects from completely volunteered time.
- We provide every attendee with refreshment for total inclusivity as well as encouraging people to continue building social networks after the walk. It is also a gift to show everyone they are worthy of such.
- To continue with events throughout the year such as this concert for further awareness and boosts within the community.
